Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS50
We use our Panasonic for a variety of reasons, a camera in our house has to be multi-purpose and the Panasonic cetianly seems to perform pretty much anything we ask of it.
It has been used a lot for photographing items to sell on eBay from books to trailers and various sizes of item inbetween and it does take nice clear still photo's.
I
often pop a camera in my pocket to walk the dogs in the countryside
where we live and take photo's of interesting views, flowers and
wildlife and there are many albums worth of dog photo's as well as those
of the human family too.
My feeling is that the camera is perfect for the still life photo's and drops to OK for things like landscape and seascape photographs, however it is adequate for the type of photos we take.
Styling:
This camera is slim line and light weight, making it an ideal choice for handbag or pocket use.

Large choice of colours.
Specification includes:
12,700,000 pixels
Image Format: JPEG
Auto Focus
Built in Flash
Video function
Plus lots more advantages.
Advantages:
As it is pocket sized, it can go anywhere with you and is ideal to keep handy for photo's of better quality than a mobile phone. It benefits from a nice sized viewing frame, with a central on-screen gauge for centring the photo. Easy zoom in and out, straightforward menu and easy to use controls. Very easy to use video function with good sound quality.
Negatives (no pun intended!):

Uploading can be a bit tricky and
uses a lot of battery power: I found the software is not that good, it
(eventually) auto-loads, but then cannot delete photos from the computer
or alter them without saving to the hard drive.
So possibly has some PC interface issues, but if you have a suitable system, maybe not a problem. Easy enough to work round anyway.

Uses: Great for: Happy Snapping, Flora, Fauna, Pets, Family,
OK for: Landscape, Seascape, Static and slow moving items. Uploading video's onto those well known sites.
Best for: When a neat lightweight camera is needed.
The Good: Nice size in the hand, lightweight and robust.
The Bad: Shutter speed seems to be stuck on slow after about 2 years of use.
Summary/My Thoughts:
All in all a very good, budget priced digital camera. The software maybe due to my OS and I have not tried to remove and re-install. So, maybe could be improved upon.
4/5.
Thank you for reading and this is an updated version of a similar review on Dooyoo with my LynP user name
