Review Samsung GALAXY S4 Mini

Advantages: Lovely little phone that you can adapt to suit your needs. 

Disadvantages: None. 

INTRODUCTION

When it comes to mobile phones, I like to choose one that is relatively simple and easy to use. In all honesty, I'm not to bright when it comes to the technical side of things when it comes to phones and PC's and the like, so will just tell you about what I know and like about this phone.
THE PHONE

I have had this phone for little over a year now. What I like about this phone is that you can adapt it to how you like it. You can swipe the screen and add 'pages' to it with apps and gadgets that you want and need. I particularly like the fact that you can add and delete pages depending on the amount of gadgets and/or apps you have on your phone. For instance, on one page I have got my emails, whatsapp, facebook, camera, gallery, Skype, my cloud drive and the game Solitaire on one page. And on another page I have an app about the weather and my favourite contacts. 

I like the fact that you can arrange any apps and gadgets you got on your phone on different pages and how you can personalize it to suit your needs. Although I'm not a big fan of playing games on my phone, I only have Solitaire installed, I do like apps that can help me in life, like Google Maps, which is already pre-installed on the phone.

The screen dimensions are 9.5 cms long and 6 inches long. I find this suitable for me, and the phone is lightweight too and easily fits into your pockets. I find the phone quite sturdy. I do, however, have mind in a case, but even on the rare occasion I have dropped it, it's been alright. I've never got it wet or dropped it in water, so can't comment on how waterproof it is. 

 

CAMERA AND VIDEO

The camera I find takes excellent pictures and the quality of the pictures is really good and clear. I find the same applies with videos I take with this phone too. I have taken videos in the past with it, and the picture and sound quality is really clear. It is also easy to transfer photos and videos over to the PC. I plug my phone into my PC and transfer them over that way. You can put a picture of your choice as a background picture which I like.
CONTACTS

When adding contacts to your phone, I like how you can add a picture to the contact, and it will show by the contacts name in the menu. You can add them to a group, ie, friends, family, work etc. And you can also add their address, email, and more than 1 phone number. I find this useful as I am often forgetting peoples addresses and email addresses. You can also make video calls from this if their phone is adapted for this too. You can also add contacts to your favourites, the favourites is shown on your screen. I like this option if you contact a certain person a lot. 

 

SOUND AND VOLUME

Another thing I like about this phone is the volume on it. I am hard of hearing in one ear, so need my devices a bit louder than normal so I can hear them. So I have this phone as loud as it will go. I find the ring tone I have which was pre-installed on the phone loud enough for me to hear. This also applies to the tone on any text messages I receive. The handy thing about the ringtone and text message tone is you can set a specific tone to a person. This can be handy so you know who is calling or texting you.
MY OPINION

Would I recommend this phone? On a personal level, yes I would. I love my little phone and it suits me for what I need. I like the way you can make it look how you want to look, change the ringtones of each contact and the picture quality of the phone is really good.
